Windows non genuine software - Dispute
Not sure if this is the proper place to post this. I purchased 2 copies of Windows 7 from a seller that appeard to be legit with lots of positive feedback. 90 days after the fact Microsoft is now stating that the software is not genuine and Ineed to purcahse a new version. I have tried to get the seller to make good but have been unsuccessful. What are my options? I see no way to file a complaint with eBay. I get the click run around and am frustrated. Thanks|||You are too late to file with eBay/PP If you funded your PP payment with a credit card call the number on the back and ask about filing a charge back.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||If it's too late to dispute, tell the seller you are going to report him to Microsoft.|||If you funded the payment with a credit card, you can call your card issuer (# on back of card) and try to file a chargeback. In additiona DO report the transaction / Ebay seller user to Microsoft . You can report the auction (s) here Link You can go back to your Paypal acct and get the auction numbers and seller's ID You can also report the seller here Link|||Is there any way I can change the feedback on this seller. So I lost my 160.00. Not the end of the world but I hate for this bast&* to get away scott free.|||No ,once you leave a positive feedback comment, you can not change it to a negative. Trust me, contacting Microsoft and other links above, will do much more than any Neg ,you could leave.|||Ebay gives you 60 days to leave feedback and or add additional follow up comments to the feedback already left.
