Seller hasn't sent the correct invoice
Before I bid, I asked seller the shipping cost of an item to my country. Seller said it's $1 more for the first item then 50 cents for each additional. So that makes $4 for one item (just light n small item 4"x6"). Usually I pay less than that for the similar items but with different sellers, and I notice from many package that I've received the USPS First class postage cost is actually under $3 for one item. However because one other seller that I usually deal with also charges me $4 for similar item, and because the total cost is still cheap compared to item actual price, so I don't mind. I only won one, but it surprised me that the invoice charges $5 for Shipping cost. When I asked the seller, the person said s/he miscalculated it cause s/he found out from the post office that the shipping cost is higher, but s/he said just pay the amount s/he first told me, and that will be fine. The question: How to pay the correct amount, if seller still hasn't sent me the correct invoice? I have contacted seller 3 times, on the second time seller said that s/he is new to international shipping, so the amounts for shipping not right on seller's end and nothing to do with me. On the third time when I told I decided to bid on that item because the shipping cost is $4, seller just replied "No, problem... thank you". ?? What should I do? It's been 5 days since I first asked for the revised invoice. I just don't want later Ebay will consider me as a Non Paying Buyer.|||Some sellers let the buyer change the invoice. Under the total is there a .. + / - If so type in -1.00 or whatever the amount is. It should recaculate. If it won't let you change it, try paying directly from PayPal for an eBay item. If neither of those work you'll have to decide whether to pay the total on the invoice and trust the seller to refund the overpayment.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||And yes, I am afraid if you don't pay, the seller may well open an Unpaid Item Dispute, and may have it set to open automatically.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer||||||I've sent seller the 4th message some days ago, asking for seller's help to change invoice based on the shipping cost we both agree at first. It's been 3 days, and no reply. Should I keep contacting or wait or?|||"If seller open Unpaid Item Dispute, could I use seller's message/s as a ground of my objection and report the seller to Ebay? " The UID Process has changed, it no longer allows for this action. Your only choice is to pay or get the UID strike, then appeal it with your incorrect invloice issue. Since the seller is NOT responding to emails, I would suggest you pull the seller's contact info (phone #) and give them a quick call asking for a corrected invoice. You can do so here Link Your only other choice is to pay the invoice amount and request a refund of the overage. Did you try emailing from the auction page Ask Seller A Question? Did you email them to their Private email address? If not I would try both , then call.|||You can contact Ebay via the Non Performing Seller report here and request the corrected invoice if the seller continues to respond. Link This will likely get a response from the seller. Before doing the NPS route, check your spam folder to make certain the seller is has not responded and the seller's response is not sitting in your spam folder.|||* That should read " You can contact Ebay via the Non Performing Seller report here and request the corrected invoice, if the seller continues not to respond."|||Thanks @ Salez4u I contacted seller by sending question through "Ask seller a question", since that's the only available contact that I found. I guess seller just doesn't want to let me buy the item that I won. Until now I haven't received Unpaid Item notice from seller, and seller still hasn't replied my latest message until now. Seller now put the shipping cost for International buyer with amount $4.75 (while s/he told me at first the shipping cost is $4, but then after I won charges me $5) Bad seller, but I guess I have to move on, calling seller by phone is not a good idea since it'll be costly cause it'll be a long distance call Thank for all the information.
