i have agreed to cancel transaction, but i want a refund too please

i purchased a DVD box set and paid by paypal. The seller emailed to say the discs were faulty and would not be shipping to me. i said thats fine if i could have a refund of my funds - seller agreed but didn't do the refund. i then got an email asking me to agree to cancel the transaction - which i agreed to so the seller can recoup their fees. now i am concerned though, because it says "you are no longer obligated to pay for this item"....but i have; and i dont understand why they haven't refunded me yet. if they know they are not going to send the goods, i'm a bit annoyed that they are not promptly returning my funds. should i not have agreed to cancel transaction until i got refunded?|||You should not have agreed to the transaction cancellation, unless you were refunded first. Check your Paypal acct again and make certain you have not been refunded. If nothing, then File the INR with Paypal now.|||When you check your PP account, be sure to change the default page which only shows the current day. Change the view to go back far enough to see if the refund was processed. If you funded the PP payment with a Credit Card, the refund would show, then another line would show the funds as returned to your Credit Card.
