Need help with "condition"
I am searching through the video game category and am having difficulty choosing a "condition". I used to be able to narrow it down by picking "Brand new, Like new, Very good, Good, Acceptable" but now I am only able to choose from "New, Used and unspecified". Does anyone know how I can get it back to the way it was when I used to be able to pick from 5 categories of conditions? Thanks.|||I see you have a Very Good on your Batman game. I just went into the same Video games > Games category as a test and got all five condition choices. Are you in the right category?~James~|||No when I'm listing a game I am able to choose from Brand new, like new, very good, good and acceptable but when I search for games I'm not. When I list games I like to check what others are listing them for so for batman for instance I will search for batman, click "buy it now only" and click "Price + shipping lowest first". Then I will click "very good" so that I can see how other sellers are pricing Batman in Very good condition. The problem is now when I try and search for a game I am only given "New, used and unspecified" at the side tab. I can no longer narrow it down to "very good" condition only. Understand what I'm saying? It's very frustrating because it makes listing things take much longer.|||This is exactly what the side tab says when I try and refine the search: Refine search In Video Games Condition New Used Not Specified Choose more Condition...|||According to help you should get all five ... Link Because eBay are adding condition to more categories, there is a fairly good chance that they have caused an issue in other categories. Try clearing cache, cookies and rebooting. If that doesn't work you can report the issue to eBay here ... I don't know what the deal is here but it is making it much more difficult to list for me.|||OP, the confusion for the above posters is the differnece in the categories available to you when you list(which will be all 5) and in what you are actually referring to which is the categories available to sort a search by, which you are correct in that you are only given the 3. Everything rated Like new to Acceptable is lumped together as "Used", and that is ridiculous(and I just realized it's the same in my main selling category of DVD's and while I know it will do no good I intend to raise hell about it. I do NOT want buyers unable to seperate a Like New DVD from an Acceptable one, there's a huge difference). Why this changed, I have no idea, there's absolutely no logic to it.
