Seller send new invoice ?

About an hour ago I've won brand new iPad 16GB from seller with 99.9% Positive feedback (with more than 10000 transactions). I'm aware that iPads are hot stuff right now and great lure for scammers but they are available in many decent auctions as "unwanted gifts". Price was normal (580USD) and just few minutes after transaction ended I've payed with PayPal. But to my surprise few minutes later seller canceled PayPal transaction with "Message from merchant: I'll sedn revised invoice." And he really send revised invoice with same amount and his details but as "PayPal money request" and item on eBay changed status to unpaid !!!! Obviously something isn't right so I've send message to him that I don't like "off-eBay transaction" and he responded with " "THIS IS NOT OFFEBAY, IAM ONLY SENDING INVOICE FOR NONE-REFUNDABLE INVOICE FOR MY PROTECTION. I'LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO CANCEL THE ORDER, THER ARE MANY OTHER BIDDERS WHO WANTS THIS ITEM." I've refused, he initiated cancellation and item is on auction again. " sounds a little fishy to me, like something could be wrong with it. If you do complete it outside of paypal I would use a credit card in case something is wrong you could always do a chargeback.||||||He initiated a Mutual Cancellation? Don't agree to accept it. " The reason the seller sent the Paypal " Send Money Request" was it affords you LESS Buyer protection and a refund ONLY if the seller has money in their acct as a Paypal Buyer Complaint. The refund of your Paypal payment triggered an auto default in your MY EBay page which reverts (due to refund) to show unpaid. The MY Ebay page showing payment due is for your eyes only. You can either use the drop down menu and mark paid or just ignore it. At this point, DO NOT repay via the "send money Request" as it affords little buyer protection if the item never arrives and DOES NOT carry the same SNAD option for buyers. File the Non Performing Seller report here Link IF the seller files the UID (unpaid item dispute) just give the Paypal transaction number showing payment was made. IF the seller files a "Cancel the trasaction request" DECLINE it immediately, so the seller does not get their Final Valeu Fee back from Ebay.
