I accidentally deleted the 3.1 ipsw file from my "iPhone Software Update" folder. Therefore, when I plug in my iPhone and start iTunes, iTunes will recognize the iPhone, but when I click on the iPhone icon I don't see anything. I don't get the iPhone menu page.
I downloaded the 3.1 ipsw again from another website and I copied it into the "iPhone Software Update" folder, but iTunes will still not give me an iPhone menu when I click on the iPhone in the DEVICES section of iTunes.
Anybody have any ideas of how to fix this?
