I am having a problem with the Remote App from Apple. I can only get the Remote app to find my library once. For example, after I launch iTunes, I can go to the Remote app on my iPhone and connect to my library just fine. Let's say I'm done listening with music for a while, so I stop iTunes and maybe I even leave my house. That means my iPhone has been completely disconnected from my home Wi-fi network. When I get back, my iPhone re-joins my home Wi-fi network, and I can use Safari or any other app that accesses the internet just fine. However, when I launch the Remote app, it will look for my library but eventually time out, and then give me the "Could not find Library" error message. The only fix for this that I have found is to quit iTunes on the computer and then start it again. That of course defeats the purpose of the Remote app.
Here's some information that might be useful:
iTunes: Latest version (9.0) on Windows Vista Business (SP2) up-to-date
Remote app: 1.3.1 (17) on iPhone 3G 3.1 (7C144)
Wi-fi: 802.11g with WPA2 on a Belkin G Wireless Router F5D7234-4 (v3) with firmware 3.00.03
Thanks in advance,
Peter
